I am going to describe here some of the most common and uncommon Hardwood Flooring Species..What are they?, where do they come from?, costs, applications... I think this is a work in progress, but worthwhile..
In this picture we see Red Oak Clear, (No color variations, no knots). the light golden color suggests this is a Canadian variety.
